Hey! I am going to show y'all my chickens, I have a lot so I am just going to do my favs. =o) First up is Blackie she is the top on the pecking order, she reminds me of a stern old aunt. Lol! Has a good personality. She is a Australorp and lays me MONSTER pale eggs. We got her and her sister Red 5 years ago.
Next is Red she is second in command. She is 5 years old and a Rhode Island Red. Lays me beautiful long skinny brown eggs. She loves oatmeal to death as well as her sis Blackie. Something interesting about her is that she loves to fly, she took her first flight at the feed store. 
The next 2 are my 2 little Gold Cochin bantams, Ginger and Fluffybutt. They have been broody for a month and half because their first chick they hatched died and now this time around they have hatched 2 so far hopefully a few more hatch. They are very good moms. I think it is very funny when they pick on the Orps and Barred Rocks that are larger than them but lower on the pecking order.
This is Fluffy Butt she is my miracle girl. She survived a bobcat attack and she has a little bit of scissor beak. Right now she is broody and she is sitting on 1 dozen eggs. I have broken her 3 times already this spring so she is very determined to have some babies.
This is Majesty, she is a big girl. She is a Maran so she lays dark brown eggs. She and her 3 sisters are so close and so is the roo. Lol!
Here is Noir she is Majesty’s sister. Something funny about her is that she has a nest in our wash and every time I let them out to free range she lays her egg there. The first time I found her she had about 20 eggs in her nest. I thought that it was so funny!
Midnight is my lap baby she loves to climb on me and be around me, she is very much a people person.. no chicken. She likes to eat ANYTHING, which is sometimes a bad thing.... when it comes to my garden.
This is Princess she is 6 months old like her sisters Majesty, Noir, and Midnight. She is a Black sex link. Somehow she always gets herself stuck in the feed bags, she must think that there is still food in them.
The duo Oreo and Cookie are Barred rocks and they are 8 months old. Cookie has a shell gland problem where her eggs are always body checked and I am pretty sure that is why... poor girl. They are the rooster favorite hens so that is why they don’t have a lot of feathers on their backs. They are very sweet and good hens, though.
This is Dan the Man he is my 8 month old Barred Rock rooster. He is very sweet to the girls, he will eat out of my hand but he mostly just keeps his distance. His fav food is cucumbers. He goes crazy when he gets them. He is a big boy, but still gets picked on by Blackie.... I don’t think any of her eggs will ever be fertilized.
This is my second rooster, CluckNoris. He is a Buff Orpington. He got into a fight with Dan a few weeks ago when he accidentally got out of his pen.... never letting that happen again. He loves to just stand in water, silly boy.
