Great ideas here. Our last coop was 4x4 and raised like yours. I always liked that setup for extra sun/rain shelter, and an unexpected bonus was the chickens created themselves a fine, always dry dust bath under there. Now we have moved and ready to build another coop. I want something bigger than last time but really, really want raised coop again. Your idea of the long wall of doors is the puzzle piece I was missing! Thanks!
