    I love my girls... all thirteen of them! Thirteen is all I can have based on my property size <sigh>.

    Must. buy. more. land.

    Phoebe needs to learn to sit and wait her turn for her treat like the other... dogs...

    You have a lovely group of chickens. I have 8 female chickens and 2 of them are Barred Rocks. Mine are good layers and very friendly. Thank you for sharing. Kay in NC .. 1.14.16

    I know roosters have to establish dominance, but the BR terribly injured my dominate White Leghorn roo and I just can't handle his attitude.

    Do any of you with barred rocks have any aggressiveness issues? I just added some BRhens and a roo to my flock and the roo is pretty aggressive. He may have to go.
