Looks like it was updated, and much improved. I like the detail, however I would also enjoy seeing more pictures of the build.

Yea that was an after thought. I wish I would've taken more pics during build.
Is there anything that you would change?
Can you share a few pictures of the inside of your coop?

I would do the the gutter to trash can set up. It collects so much debris water gets very skanky!

Love having storage area with feed, shell, the rug and trash can I use for poop clean up are all in there. I have elect. ran and even put in a night light on storage side when they were young to encourage them to come roost when they were little .
Article completely lacks any build details. It's simply a photo of the exterior.

Coop is a sheet of plywood 4x8 9/16 " covered in lino. Floor is balanced on 4x4 post on concrete block. Other 3 corners are placed on ledger board screwed into privacy fence. The back and long side are plywood sheets secured to fence. The other 2 sides are plywood , tar paper, then covered with wood siding T1- 11 . The doors are made out of old windows off a job. and we made a screen door covered in chicken wire on left , back door that latches for ventilation in summer. That area is for supply/ storage and holds their water jug that is a closed loop system. That system consists of a 6 gallon(camping jug) water container attached to a garden hose that attaches to a pvc loop that is pumped back to jug. We used a standard fountain pump to move water
back to jug . The water flows through a pipe holding their horizontal nipples inside coop and we add aquarium heater in winter to jug water. My storage area is seperated from coop area by a wall of chicken wire. See photo. We used piano hinges on doors . The roof is sheathing, tar paper, covered by new barn metal that drains into gutter that drains into trash can with nipples that is their outside source of water. The roof has an overhang to keep water out of nest boxes. We made 2 nesting boxes that didn't take up any of their 4x5' floor space. We have a 4"pvc feed tube that goes to a trough ( cut into 12" section of 4"pipe on a elbow) under house
that neverr gets wet. . That's their outside feeder. Inside same thing cut through wall. I have 2 small pipes holding grit in 1 and oyster shell in other.
