Not too much oatmeal though. Beta Glucan, the fiber in oatmeal, is an an anti nutrient for chickens

My Girls give this a 5++ star review. I made a total of 6 cups (flock is 50 birds) for an afternoon snack (our coldest daytime of the season today) so this was right on time!! They LOVED it!! I did have to let mine sit for a while to cool....and then added a bit of cool water over the top as they ate so fast to the center~ It was a HIT!! They looked so sweet and happy this afternoon ..... thank you!! This will be my go to all winter! So fast and easy! ****I also stirred in Peas...they LOVE peas!!!
