(1 week age difference wasn't enough to bother the integration)
At one week, the black australorps have developed wing feathers and are sprouting tail feathers!
They can fly about a 6-10 inches!
The cochins mostly stick to themselves, but the EE always has to be in the middle of the Australorps!
IN OCTOBER I ORDERED SIX MORE CHICKS!
1 Salmon Faverolles, 2 Easter Eggers, 1 Black Tailed White Japanese Bantam, 1 Grey Japanese Bantam, 1 Dominique (all pullets)
Here they are a few minutes after arrival, still in their makeshift cardboard brooder at my work!
