chicken tractor run.jpg I spent the Thanksgiving vacation building my wife her first coop. We are being gifted 6 Black Sexlink hens and 1 rooster that are almost 1 year old. It is 7 feet 2 inches by 10 feet 5 inches and 7 feet high. I had most everything I needed for the construction I think I have a little over 100 dollars in miscellaneous stuff. Now that the coop is finished I am going to get started on a couple of tractor runs for them to stay in during the day, one about 6x12 and another about 4x4. The smaller one will be used to move them back and forth from the coop to the run. I have gotten a lot of great ideas by looking at this site over the years, looking forward to your comments

Do you think you'll ever connect the runs to the coop or continue transporting them?

It looks like you built the coop inside an existing shed? That's helpful being able to do.
