I would find this article very helpful if I were building this coop. I'd have spent the extra bucks on hardware cloth just in case there's more to worry about than a stray cat in the future.

Well done article. Great advice both up front and in closure. Good pictures showing details. I especially like the treatment on the door/ramp and the angled roof that eliminates the need for fancy angle cuts. VERY nicely done at every stage ... but I sure would like to see the "playhouse" that was sure to come afterwards ...
