Pepper is a silver polish hen, l got Pepper about 3 years ago, l got her for my birthday when she was just over a day old, my mom had ordered her online with a bunch of meat birds when the meat birds went to butcher Pepper was left with out a folk so she moved into are garage. She slept with the dogs ate with the cats and did gardening with me" she needs to discover the difference between weeds and plants" when Pepper was about 11/2 year old she tried to hatch chicks unfortunately the eggs were not fertilized so she sat on the eggs for 57 days until she was almost dead l feel so bad for letting it go on that long any ways l nursed her back to life, it took 5 weeks before l even got to see a glimpse of the Pepper l had known a few months ago, but as time heals it healed my Peeper
. Just this summer Pepper tried hatching eggs again this time in a flower pot on the front porch, with more monitoring on my part. After 22 days pepper was the proud mom of seven chicks
. A few weeks after her chicks were on there own the fair started it was a long week but me and Pepper had fun she took home a overall grand champion in quality she was so proud l love my little girl so much.
