Ingredients:

4-6 potatoes, cubed
1 large onion, chopped
2 stalks celery
2 cloves garlic
1 can chicken broth
2 cups milk
black pepper
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp butter
3 tbsp flour

Cooking Instructions

Melt butter in a large saucepan. Add onions, celery, and garlic, stir fry for a few minutes. Add cubed potatoes, fry for a few more minutes. Add chicken broth, milk, salt and pepper. Cover and simmer until potatoes are soft. Mix flour with a little bit of water until a paste is formed, add to soup. Stir and cook for a few minutes until you have the consistency you want. If its too thick, add a bit more milk. If you want it thicker, add more flour. Amount of seasonings is basically guide; season to taste with salt and pepper.

Note: I like to add several strips of crumbled bacon, or sliced turkey sausage to make this a complete meal. Excellent for cold winter nights.
