It is nice. I see that you would like a bigger area during the winter for them. In the winter, to make their area bigger, put plastic around their run, then they can still go out, but be out of the wind and rain/snow. that is what I do with my run and it works great. if it gets muddy or wet, add more sand/dirt to the ground, and pines shaving that you can change out if needed.

Great article. Love all the pictures, and the list of materials used. Anyone could reproduce this coop. Also loved the ground level viewing window for the chickens. Great job.

It seems a bit small but if birds spend much of their days outside, it looks like a good place to sleep overnight or get out of the weather. Great plans, lots of photos, great job!
