- We get to know them better
- They can help us relax, Ex) They like peace and calm as much as we do ☮
- If they are sick, it will be easier to tell, because you will be more likely to know what behavior is or isn't normal for your hens
- It makes them more people friendly, and gets them used to you coming out and handling them, a great thing for when you need to reach under one to get eggs, and makes them more likely not to peck at you when you try to get an egg
- They do crazy things that might make a bad day turn around!
- I don't know about you, but mine just make me happy!
- It is interesting to watch their drama and squabbles!
Why we all love our hens...
They make us laugh at their silliness!
Their noises! Purrs, singing etc.
Their angry scolding! Soooo funny!
When they get mad at a flock member, they do the chicken equivalent of... 
!
