It is that frosty time of year again! My flock loves snow/ice/slush, so I made this cool cake for them! It is really simple to make, and a fun activity for kids to do.

You will need:
Snow. This recipe will not work without it.
A mold for said snow. I used a five gallon bucket, but you can use a pan, soup ladle, snowball/snow brick mold, or even a toilet paper roll!
A plate, piece of wood, or anything really. This is for setting the freshly gathered snow. I would recommend using a plastic plate, since those are easy to wash and usually won't break under the weight of a few chickens.
*Optional* fruit, veggies, bread, mealworms and other dried bugs to decorate the cake. You don't have to do this step, but it is so fun! Just make sure to do your research before giving this treat to your flock. You wouldn't want to accidentally poison your flock!

Instructions:
1. Pack snow into the mold, and put the molded snow onto plate.
2. *Optional* Decorate!
3. Place cake into chicken coop
4. Laugh!
