The Baker's Dozen: Lacy Duckwing's 2025 Chick Growth Tracker

Chicks change a lot as they grow, so it often makes it hard to remember who was who once they are older and I'm often looking for new ways to keep track. In this article, I'll have in Spoilers pictures of each chick's full-body profile, back, feet, and head. Those are all ways of identifying them and that's how I'll be keeping track of them as they grow.


On Thursday, March 6, 2025, I bought 13 chicks consisting of Cinnamon Queen (3), Rhode Island Red (2) and Blue (2), Lavender Orpington (2), Easter Egger (2), and Noir Marans (2). They were all sexed pullets and I'm guessing they were a day or two, possibly three days, old.
