My All-Time Favorite Pictures

L to R: Bullwinkle, Esme, Checkers, Jasper, Daisy, Merriweather, Beakman and Fryer Tuck.

Beakman watching over his girls, Fryer Tuck, Checkers and Esme.

This is Brutus in the biggest Mesquite Tree in the yard. She is my friendliest girl. She is also
the one pictured, perched on my hand in my profile picture.

Optimus Prime and Brutus on the porch roof of the dog house... The sun was starting to set.

This is Beakman, before his comb and wattle were fully grown. Even then, he was the ever alert protector of the flock!

Thor was my smallest rooster. There was never any mistaking his crow for anyone else's because his voice was so much higher than the others. He was always the last in the coop too. If he wasn't in the coop, atleast one of the girls was still roaming the yard.

This is my first flock the day they moved into "Pullet Together" at around 4 weeks old. You can still see the hardware cloth in this picture, but it is now burried.

Here is my first flock again, a few days after we brought them home. It is hard to believe they were ever that small! I had to find new homes for most of the roosters, and I have since added new hens.
