March 30, 2014 we went down to the local feed store and picked up two babes, a Buff orpington & Rhode Island Red. Enjoy the journey!

These are the girls, about a week old, on the way to their new beginning.

Because our plans to rescue ex battery hens fell through, we decided the girls really needed some siblings (other than our pups and kitties)...so down to the feed store we went and picked up two more babes; A black Australorp & Golden Sexlink.
Here they are at three days old, making the trip home.
