There are many other ways to discover if your chickens or coop has red fowl mites, and also, the vast majority successfully treat their birds and coop with permethrin powder, or perhaps the spray where it's a warmer climate. If you just added a link, even from articles here in BYC about testing the coop for the mites and treating them with a powder, your article would be more complete and have more avenues for someone reading your article instead of just one.
