Turmeric tea is a common staple in a multitude of house holds. Some people enjoy it's "earthy" or "herbal" flavors and benefit from it's medicinal properties. What if we could turn this average tea into a dessert or treat though? Well luckily, with just a few simple ingredients we can and that's what you will find in this recipe! After my Mama made me this tea once I became "addicted
" to it and it is now a staple in my evening routine! I really hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Please let me know how you liked it in the reviews or comments below, thank you!

* ~ Turmeric Tea Delight~*
-Ingredients-
~ 11 oz of Hot Water
~ 1 Turmeric Tea Bag
~ 2 tbs Maple Syrup (If you like it very sweet like me)
~ 1 tsp Vanilla Extract (optional) *Note, While the vanilla extract is optional it is highly recommended*
~ 1/4 cup Milk *Note, you can also use Half and Half, Cream or your favorite milk substitute*
-Instructions-
1. Heat up water. Make it slightly hotter than you usually would since the milk will cool it down a touch.
2. Fill an 11oz mug about three quarters full with hot water to leave room for the other ingredients.
3. Steep turmeric tea bag in hot water for about 1-2 minutes depending on the potency of the bag itself.
4. Add the vanilla extract, milk and maple syrup.
5. Stir and enjoy!
