Understanding the Rose Comb Trait

This is BRILLIANT! Thank you. Just the article I needed to read. Easy to understand for us beginners.
Good punnett square examples, reminds me of HS bio. 4 star because they explained basic genetics well but didnt stay focused on the rose comb. But good article overall
This is fine primer for explaining basic genetics by using the rose comb gene as an example. I think the title is a little misleading but otherwise it was fun and informative.
I like the article ! Well written and easy to understand
Instead it was a very beginner type explanation of dominant and recessive genes, using rose- and single combs as examples. But the only thing this article teaches specifically about the combs is that the rosecomb is a dominant gene, while the single comb is recessive one. Altough from the other reviews i guess it has an audience so who am I to complain..
Thanks, you really explained it well. Now I understand why the single phone is actually pretty common in my Columbian Wyandottes. Four out of eighteen Wyandottes we've had in the past eight years have or had single combs.

Very interesting, good to know for breeding
Good article, clarifies the potential for the expression of rose combs. Now I know what to expect if my Dominique lays any fertile eggs.
Thank you. That was very straight forward and easy to understand.
