Ok, first of all, I apologize for maybe not posting in correct area. Still a newbie. I had previously posted pictures of my Bantam Cochin roo whose legs had bright red coloring. I got a lot of helpful replies.
But there's been a change.
He is molting and at time of post, had a few visible blood feathers in area. But I just noticed, from the same distance I originally saw the redness, I could barely see it now.
So I took some pics this a.m.
I'm wondering if maybe thru maturing, as his legs were not red as a jouvinelle, if this is natural. As you can see, you can't see alot of the redness because the new feathering is covering it. The newest blood feathers, shafts look fine and the ones that are feathers now, look fine.
Any new ideas with these new pictures?
I'm hoping that the people who previously commented. Again, newbie, and I couldn't figure out how to make addendum to original post
