Additional Information | Up to 100 chickens per acre can be kept on property >2 acres. They must be at least 250 feet from any residential dwelling other than that of the owner. No chicken can be sold, awarded or given away until they reach the age of 3 weeks. Dyed animals within the city are prohibited. A special project can be obtained from the Secretary that allows up to 15 broilers to be kept up to a period of 2 months.
