Why's Open Air Coop Design (In process)

For a WIP (work-in-progress) the article offers good detail on design that would be suitable for nearly most climates. Great open air design snd use of space. I can’t wait to see the updated version.

This is a good coop and I'll be happy to up my rating after the article is finished with interior photos and plans.
Excellent set-up and great in-progress write-up for the build, so far. I'll be watching for the rest of this as it develops. If the beginnings are this promising, the final product (is there really such a thing?) will be pretty impressive.

Thank you!
You're totally right I think there's always something that can be done to further improve so no "final product" just the updated version lol
Great idea & would be applicable in my area (Louisiana). I am looking forward to updates, I did look up "Ohio Brooder". How many birds do you plan to keep?

I am currently housing 23 standard chickens, 5 Muscovy and 3 geese, the numbers I won't exceed (for now) are 25 for chickens, 10 geese and 6 ducks. There's plenty of roosting space and nesting boxes but the floor space needs opened up. I also want to make a small bump out for the waterfowl so they'll have adequate nesting options, that's on my never ending "to do" list...
