Yes of course, I'm new to chickens so I need some help. There are so many breeds and typically identified by initials but ususally I have no clue of they stand for. Is there some where I can look that lists the different breeds and the initials or can we start one here? i.e.

BO - buff orphington
RIR - Rhode Island Red
SLW - Silver Laced Wyandotte
 
BLRW - Blue Laced Red Wyandotte
GLW - Golden Laced Wyandotte
OEG- Old English Game
BBS - Blue Black Splash (referint to the color of a breed)
EE - Easter Egger
BR - Barred Rocks

Those are just a few more you can add to your list

I did a seach on the forum's website & below are several abbreviations that someone had posted in the past. Hope it helps.

WCP-White crested polish.
BTB-Black tailed buff (usually Japanese bantams)
BTW-black tailed white (usually japanese bantams)
BR-Barred rock.

EE-Easter eggers (Ameraucana Crosses)
