. My favorite is water color pencils. You can draw like a pencil and add fine lines that way, and paint it to make a really cool effect.

YAY!! me wants to see your art. I want to do some drawing but I keep procrastinating on my homework and then I feel I shouldn't draw if I don't do my homework but always wait till the last minute to do it.
 
I went to school to be an art teacher, but never finished...
started painting and drawing as a small child. My Grandparents wouldn't allow coloring books-- they bought me paints, pastels, chalk, colored pencils., and LOTS of paper!!!

I now write and illustrate childrens books (Working on finding a publisher) and have done MANY murals at local businesses and in peoples homes (I LOVE Doing Nurseries for new Moms!)

I mostly do "Multi-media" using a base of watercolor then layers of pastel or colored pencil and india ink.... though I do love to do pencil work!

Maybe the Staff here would start a gallery for art by members?????

I for one would REALLY Like to see other folks work!!!
 
ohh you should takes some pics of what you have done and post them.
