You will! I haven't been working on it lately, though. I have been building a large aviary for my chickens (and eventually waterfowl and turkeys).Do we have the final piece with all the birds on it? Would love to see them all <3
Oh how nice! <3You will! I haven't been working on it lately, though. I have been building a large aviary for my chickens (and eventually waterfowl and turkeys).
I did not see this until now, apologies for that! Thank you, Ruby is very beautiful, she is my best-looking flock member! Very shiny and she has that dark mahogany color that Rhode Island Reds are supposed to have. That is the smoothest coloring I have seen in a RIR! Almost like she is made of plastic!
I bet that sounds so darn cute!
I have seen several people on BackYard Chickens who have had their chicken live to thirty years old and there are other examples of them reaching thirty years or older if you do a quick search (and I do not want to give support to Peanut's owner because Peanut was obviously not healthy with her overgrown beak and toenails). I hope Ruby lives long like that, I could not imagine losing her.I wish they all live as long as Peanut the chicken did (was the world's oldest chicken at 21 yrs when she died
Of course! I will add your gorgeous lady onto my list and get to them ASAP!Can't believe I just found this post, your paintings are so adorable!! If you find the time, would you like to paint Odie?
She's a Delaware and official drama queen. As for favorite things she loves taking photos and bossing everyone around her lol.View attachment 3937229
Wow, 30 years! That's nuts! Now that you mention it, I do recall seeing Peanut in a video with an overgrown beak and nailsI have seen several people on BackYard Chickens who have had their chicken live to thirty years old and there are other examples of them reaching thirty years or older if you do a quick search (and I do not want to give support to Peanut's owner because Peanut was obviously not healthy with her overgrown beak and toenails).
