Can I Paint Your Birds?

Yes, I was brand new to chickens as well when I had my SLW and didn't know what splayed legs were. If I did know what it was then, I probably would have caught it right away. Mine came from a local hatchery. Her name was Vicky. She died last year.
I'm sorry about Vicky. It's so sad that tour feather babies don't have very long lives.
My SLW's nails were very long, too. We never got a chance to trim them, though. How do you trim chicken nails?
I use dog nail trimmers or a dremmel. Most of the birds don't need it- just a few extra special ones, lol.
That footage is mysterious🤔 I wonder if that's her having chicken zoomies or if that's when she got injured.
Somewhere in that moment is when she was injured. I was convinced for a while that something stung her. But now I suspect something broke/dislocated/snapped inside of her and her "freak out" was because it scared/hurt her. I don't really know, though, of course. It's all speculation.

Hello! If you are still wanting more birds, would you like to paint Omelette? If you are not taking anymore requests or do not want to, that’s okay! I’m sorry for bothering you. Omlette is my first chick I ever hatched, and boy is he loud about it! Loudest rooster I own, and he is proud of it! He is super sweet though. Here is some pictures if you’d like?

I am always open to more requests until I finish my painting, so you can request as many as you'd like!!

Okay, I am definitely painting him with that bowtie! 🤣

Haha! That’s awesome! If you’d like, he has a sister, scramble, from the same parents if you’d like to paint her as well! She’s a sweetheart, and likes to cuddle and give hugs. She is a day apart from her big brother, and Scramble and Omlette are close! Here are some pictures of her normally, and with her birthday saddle on!

Ruby, my Rhode Island Red Bantam hen! She is my favorite flock member. The sweetest chicken I have ever had-she loves to be around humans more than her own species, and enjoys coming inside to peck around on the ground and explore. Ruby's voice is like no other chicken I have heard. It is squeaky and high-pitched, and absolutely adorable! It definitely does not sound like she is clucking, more like a cute version of crying. My name that my chickens have given me is "Waa-Waa" but in Ruby's voice it sounds like "Wee-Wee"!

Hello to everyone reading this! I have ran out of requests to add onto my bird park! 🥲

Could y'all lend me a hand? 😊
How about my Miso? She's since passed on, but she was a hilarious ISA Brown. She was blind in one eye and always had a cute head tilt. Her favorite food was cheese, and she would sneak up on the deck and peck at the door until I would go out and give her a few strands of shredded cheese.
