Am I hosting Chickenstock again this year over Memorial week-end.

I originally looked at the wrong date for Memorial Week-end. Chickenstock will be May 23, not May 30.

Sorry for the confusion...

OK, since I'm still relatively new, please explain....

I went to the Bluebonnet Classic and I might be going to the LaGrange one. And I'll most likely go to the Funky Chicken Coop Tour. So now what else am I going to?????
 
Chickenstock started years ago as a way for BYC members to meet each other and have a day of fun.

It is for family, kids and friends. We meet, eat, talk chickin' and some bring eggs/birds for swapping.

I have 20 acres, a big house with a wrap around porch and plenty of room for parking. You can even camp out if you want.

I don't mind hosting at all, but I always throw it out if anyone else wants to...

I don't have any birds or eggs to swap, but I can donate whatever is needed..food, drinks, paper supplies (plates, cups, silverware), etc....
 
I just mapquested it and its about 2 1/2 hrs away.

It would depend on what happens what day, LOL.
I would have to work that Saturday until about 3pm, then could
probably drive down for Sat nite or Sunday or Monday events.
I would love to meet some of the great Texans and others on
this site.

I wish I could host it, but I just don't have the space.
Living in the suburbs bites.
 
We only have festivities on Saturday. So many people have to get back to take care of their critters and cannot stay over.

However, are still welcome to camp out Friday and Saturday night.

We have had it on Memorial Week-end the last few years so people could come Saturday and still have two days to spend at home.
