Just thought I'd post pictures of some of my birds. It's like bragging about kids. lol

This is Helmut. He's a hoot. He thinks he's human. My dad was in his mancave (garage) watching his TV (the lovely static channel) when Helmut waddles up and hops right up on the chair and starts watching with him. Another time my dad was sleeping when Helmut jumped up on his lap. He really loves my dad.

These are my layers. The gray one on the right is one of my first chickens, she's 10 years old now.

Excuse the muddy mess, it's been raining cats and dogs here

This is Kung Pao, my super champion bird. She's 3, so she doesn't look as splederous as she did when she was a wee pullet. I'm retiring her this year from the show world, she had a good run. But she's so sweet, I love her.

This is Chicken Cordon Bleu the Lemon Blue Modern Game. He's my buddy. He's kinda sad though, I sold his brother recently and he misses him.

But he'll forget all about that next month when he meets the ladies.

Here's last year's babies all grown up. They'll be hens next month. That's, from left to right, Anita, Rosarita, and Cupcake the Cochin.

And that's it cause my camera died.

Ok, a few more.

This is Gringo! The pic's been cut for my website.

This is Cavendish, my Blue Golden Duckwing OEGB, he's in the breeding pen right now... hope I get some babies! I have two eggs right now... big number, I know. lol.

This is Lil' Man, aka Toes, aka Devil Bird, aka gay attack rooster... he's a bugger, but he's funny.

I love seeing your chickens again! You should post more pics, It was so nice seeing your show birds in Humboldt, they are what convinced us to get Bantam Moderns

Great job with them! They have such super personalities, nothing will do now but for my husband to have a little flock of them too. He's planning a small indoor area addition to our existing aviary for next winter and everything!! Wow.

Haha, good! I'm setting the breeding pens up earlier than planned. I should have fertile Modern eggs by mid or early May. So I'll be sure to get you some. Also, I will have one or two extra hens for sale if you still want a "test Modern." I might be selling Duck, my first BIG champion hen (she won Best in Show open down at PCBC last year, about 800-1000 birds, don't remember), but I have to think about it some more cause she's special to me. If I do, I'll give you first dibs and a reasonable price. I want her to go to a good home more than anything.

bHromada: Thanks!
