Jeckyl had to ham it up and stick her lopped comb in the camera...

This is Twinky. Twinky is a BBRed OE and Splash Silkie cross. She's pretty cute, and she's an excellent broody.

And finally, my beloved Jack and his Cornish girlfriend Mildred. Jack was my old showmanship bird. He's since been retired because he has a heart condition and I can't handle him any more because it makes it difficult for him to breathe.

Haha, good! I'm setting the breeding pens up earlier than planned. I should have fertile Modern eggs by mid or early May. So I'll be sure to get you some. Also, I will have one or two extra hens for sale if you still want a "test Modern." I might be selling Duck, my first BIG champion hen (she won Best in Show open down at PCBC last year, about 800-1000 birds, don't remember), but I have to think about it some more cause she's special to me. If I do, I'll give you first dibs and a reasonable price. I want her to go to a good home more than anything.

bHromada: Thanks!

Thanks for giving us first dibs and of course we want them!!

Ha Ha! Yes, I love your dear birds, and Frankie and I will take the pairs too. Its so cool you're so close too, just give us a call when you're ready for a home for your dear babies! You can PM me for our phone # again any time!

So you want a pair now?

I was just about to advertise the pairs on Craigslist too... good timing! I know you'll give them a good home. There are two pairs, Peanut and Muriel (they're the friendlier birds), and Enchilada and Kiwi. They're ready to go whenever, but let me watch Peanut for a while, he was acting a little funny today but I think he was just indulging in the nice weather and sunshine.
