Cindy,
Question for ya

Would you mind sharing what hatchery you're getting your darks from? It might help me decide if I need/want marans or wels.

So is there anyone around here doing a breeding project that could benefit from a single comb BLRW pullet? She is not hatchery stock.

I found the foolish thing
so here I will repeat myself yet again , likely for the 100th time today
I will \\have bantams, some red sex links and a few other breeds , I think there are some EE chicks in tehre , dont know what color eggs they are going to lay. it will be a suprise!

keesmom, There is a woman who bought my BLRW cockerel "arm chicken" at the Milford Swap who said she would be coming to the May swap looking for started pullets to keep with him. She is not going to be anything but a backyard chicken keeper at this time so she would probably be happy with a single comb Wyandotte pullet since serious breeding is not her goal. I can't say 100% that she will take your pullet but you should bring it anyways, if she doesn't I'm sure someone will!

should have checked before I schedualed, I guess those who would like to show up will and those who dont well just wont, I aam not about to hold it against anyone who doesnt want to come.
After all holidays are for Familys.

i am sure we will still come, even with the holiday weekend. Chicken swaps are a family outing for us anyway.

Our wedding anniversary is May 31st, so for us it's just as well that the swap is the weekend before.
