CHICKEN SWAP MAY 23 MILFORD NH

Is anyone interested in Bantam Cochin chicks? The dad is a red Frizzle, and Mom is Lavender. Chicks are black, but I'm told they carry the Lavender gene. I can't tell yet if any will be frizzles or not (more still to hatch.)

Most of them are pointed. I think she said there was one other colored one but I forget which color she said. She has others in the nest, I'll see if she has any agoutis

ETA: I may have accidentally killed my hatch

I may just be over worried though. It's day 20. I had a major humidity spike and I'm afraid they may drown when they try to pip

they should be fine and start hatching out this morning. as long as their beaks are pointed up they should be fine.
if you want you can take a small flashlight and check the air cells you will be able to see the water in there if there is any.
if there is water you can take a pin and pop a "small" hole in the underside of the egg to let out the water. but BE CAEFULL. you can poke the chick.

Ok, I have one Welsummer pullet and two roo's. So, little missy is going to need a friend. I can't put her alone in with 4 big girls (and one big boy). I *think* she's about 3-4 weeks now, does anyone have an extra pullet I can buy? I'm not too picky on breed, even a mutt would be fine but it must be a pullet. I've had enough with roo's!

I know, I know, I change my mind daily

But, they finally got in their breast feathers so I'm pretty sure now.

I might even take two pullets if someone has a pair they'd like to part with. I'm happy to come pick up at your convenience (if you're anywhere near Fitchburg) or could meet at the swap.

may 23rd lol ,. i am thinking, she is nuts, she put the wrong date, so i pull out my schedule, and sure enough, it is the 23rd and the 23rd is a holiday, but i am broke, camper will sit in the yard

this is rochester area's first swap, so we wont know how it does til the day, but milford is well worth the trip, i would say if you can only make one that would be the one
