gypsy, the humidity had spiked to 98%!!!! Humidity is down to 66% now and I currently have 5 pips and no problems just yet. I'll let you know how it goes.
first chick is out and it's love at first sight!
The little one climbed all the way across the bator to lay against the side where I was.

Guess what i woke up too today. a Showgirl and a silkie

So far there are 4 out, 1 zipped and a few more pipped. It's just morning of day 21 so it may take a while. I had to take the first 4 out of the bator since they were seriously kicking around the other eggs. I was very careful to not lower the humidity in the incubator more than 1% throughout. Here's a pic of them in their section of the brooder. I meant to put down paper towels but forgot in the excitement.
How cute is that!
The big chicks keep jumping the divider to check them out but they haven't been hurting them at all. Just looking at them and then trying to figure out how to get back to the other big chicks, LOL.

Val: phones in the car, it doesnt come in here anyways.
I read it and let nature take its course. There isnt a lot you can do honestly, it may be resting or it may have died. hard to say untill the hatch is over then you can crack the one egg and see what might have gone wrong.
