I was at an Asian market today picking up some things and saw this.

My friend who is Chinese says they are very good. They look really small and bony to me.

I ate them when I was in Singapore in 99 for work, I was hesitant to step past my comfort zones with food, so I ordered the chicken every meal. It was only 2 weeks, and I ate mostly rice and fruits that trip.
 
All Silkies have black skin!! Nothing else is different.
Silkies do not get very big as they are banties & just don't have a lot of meat on them.
However, they are wonderful brooders. My white silkie has 'raised' all my layers since she was a year old. She is a teriffic mom & really keeps the other girls at bay.
 
Silkies will try to hatch a rock, and they might hatch a golf ball if you let them have it long enough...

I'm sure if you just pitched it right and gave the world a line of BS they would pay 10 bucks a lb for old roosters.

but I make a live'n selling rocks so.....
