Okay here is the deal... the first person to buy one of my husband's hand forged Dinner Triangles after this post goes up and is the first person to make a short video of your chickens or ducks being called to you with the triangle will receive their purchase price back from me. there will be rules listed below and you can see his work and the triangles in this thread on page 3:

Hand Forged items

Triangle comes come in sizes of a small (5 - 6 inch) for $25.00 plus shipping, medium (8 - 9 inch) for $30 plus shipping and large (12") for $35.00 plus shipping. Each comes with a hand forged ringer and a hand forged hanger to mount the triangle. Shipping for the Large runs just under $12. So shipping will be $10.00 across the board.

RULES FOR CONTEST:

1. Purchase and receive your triangle. All triangles ordered within the next 10 days will be shipped together to make the contest portion fair.

2. Once you receive the triangle, train your chickens, ducks, geese etc, to come to you ringing it, make a short video and be the first to post the video here for me.

3. When making the video you must be out of the birds' sight when you ring it so that they are truly coming to the ringing and not seeing you and looking for treats.

4. Give me permission to have a copy of your video and use it on the website I am building for my husband's blacksmithing work.

The first video posted that meets the above requirements, will get an immediate refund of the cost of the triangle from me via paypal or money order.

Our lovely Administrator, Terrielacy, here at BYC was gifted one of these by me and can confirm that they sound lovely. DH works hard to get a nice balanced sound to them as well as making them beautiful.

So, let the contest begin...the 10 day clock will start with the first one purchased...

Ok, I guess I will need at least a medium. How heavy are they? I ask because I have to ring from the front and back depending upon where the chil.. I mean chickens

are. So I will be carrying it around a bit.

Also, the hooks look large and for hanging outside. It would be nice to have a small one for hanging inside for easy grabbing...

The hooks for hanging them is much smaller than the hanger style hooks. It work great against a wall of something like that.

The large one boxed up I just mailed to WV weighed 3 lbs 9.9 oz and cost 11.57 to mail parcel post. So a medium is not going to be far off which is why i am keeping th shipping at 10.00 across the board.

If you want to call me or me call you I can ring a medium for you and you can "hear" it. hehehehe I have one right here that he just made yesterday. It would not be hard to walk around with, I can and I am a mere 91 lbs. Little thing.
