Why is that stupid game so addicting?

And who designed it so that yoru gardens grow even if the chickens & rabbits run free?
 
I play and I have no clue why it is so addicting, cept maybe cause theres chickies there lol I just increased my farm size and think I have around 80,000 coins now lol

I'm on fb. Farm town is VERY addictive!! I know it's stupid, but I penned all my animals up. The thought of them in the garden didn't seem right.....unless I've harvested.
