The more I look at this little one, the more I think it could be a rooster. Pics are below. I bought three wyandottes at the same time. One silver-laced, one gold-laced and one buff.

They are all the same age but this one is still getting neck feathers. It has the little puffs on the neck while the other two have been done with that for a week or two.

The comb...well, it doesn't look like much of a comb but it's a wyandotte. The other two have basically nothing for a comb while this one has a built-up looking thing, actually has a bit of comb...and it's red...and there are red wattles.

Also, it's a wee bit bigger than the two laced girls.

Oh, and I don't know if it's just an old-wives tale or not but its wings were a little irregular from the beginning, laid different.

What do you think?

i would say roo also.
I also have a couple that are 7 weeks of age and their comb and wattles look the exact same as your buff wyandotte:)

He's a sweetheart. It just all depends on the flock dynamics. I have 16 chickens all together and one of the others is definitely a rooster (an EE). I am just hoping and praying that the two work well together
