Does anyone have any of these geese i have looked at the different hatcheries and i cant find them anywhere unless i import them from Canada. Anyone know anyone who has them

Have you tried emailing any of the Canadian farms to see if they know where you can get them in the states?
I don't believe there are any in this country-if you find out otherwise let me now!

I just emailed Bergs Hatchery and i dont expect to get a response for a day or two i was actually thinking about importing some but that would be to much of a hassle i have a link for the USDA requirements for importing them. (remember its from canada so there is a special cercustance listed)

I think I read they also have a 60$ cost for shipping inside of canada... I can't even imagine what the cost would be to get them here.

Both sides of my husband's family came from Denmark. One of his grandfathers came here as a young man. They always kept geese in Denmark and then later here in the U.S. The geese looked a lot like Roman Geese that you can find here in the U.S. I keep the Roman Tufted Geese - part of the family recently visited Denmark and told me the geese the extended family now keeps look like mine. But, mine were somewhat smaller. Some of their geese have tufts and some do not. They may be cross bred? Not really sure.
