Well my first shot a building a coop is done.....a dog house tractor coop. My wife bought me the chicken hutch to start with and it lasted a whole 3 months before it fell apart.....so necessity is the mother of invention! I have three hens that now have a new home.... I can take pics of the inside if anyone is interested.

Let me know what you guys think.

Very nice! I am thinking of a doghouse coop for my 3 birds. Did you hinge the roof or did it come that way?
 
The doghouse I saw at Lowes had a removable roof but the whole thing was in one piece and looked too cumbersome to take off. Yours looks much easier-I'll look for one like that.
