Ok time for some fun all. Let see you egg baskets or what ever you use to collect eggs in. Also you can tell us how many a day you collect if you wish.

There is a reason behind this as I am thinking about what to use when they start laying. I have 22 pullets right now.

Here is my egg basket. It's old but it works. Its been repaired a few times.

Sometimes I cheat and carry eggs into the house cradled in the bottom of my skirt that I fold up.

Usually I carry them in my old egg basket. Well used and well loved. Right now we are getting about 3 dozen eggs a day-most are pullet eggs.

This is fun!

These are my multi purpose egg collection and chicken catching devices...they work great and I never have to do it myself.

. Honestly I think they take a little plastic Easter Basket type thing down.

Sadly, we're getting so few right now (less than half a dozen) that I carry them inside in my shirt, or in my hat. I don't have a proper egg basket, so I've always used whatever is available - egg cartons, coat pockets, buckets, bowls - whatever is nearby.

I did break an egg inside my husband's coat pocket once. He wasn't thrilled.

for me though I do not have kids. Our coop is about 75 feet down hill from my house. Winter shall be fun. NOT

Since my two laying hens are alternating which day they lay, we use a hand to bring in the banty eggs.

I'm envious of those that need a basket.

Thanks for sharing what's used.
