I am going to start weeding through my youngsters and will have some pairs and possibly trios to sell. These will not be the best I have as I will be keeping those to replenish my flock.

I have wheaten, blue wheaten, splash wheaten, white, black, blue, silver, split lavender and one or two splash available.

The usual reasons for not keeping birds would be eye color, leg color or small flecks of off color plumage on the birds. For example, in my wheaten and blue wheaten pullets, I will not be keeping any with black specks in the hackles.

If you are looking for a particular color pair please let me know.

These birds have all had mareks and ILT vaccinations. They have all been very healthy, some may be missing a few feathes as the grow out pen is getting crowded. I will be asking $35.00 per pair, plus shipping and box.

Would you be willing to hold a few until early Sept.? I'll be making a trip out to Spokane and would love to add a few colored egg layers to my flock.

I am just being killed by all these post about beautiful birds ahhhhh I will fight my mother but she will say no

SOMEONE GET THESE !!!

Hi Jean,

It's not looking like I'm gonna get to take September off like I normally do so I may not be over that way this year. However, if you'd like to say a prayer for me, I've got a deal that may close tomorrow. If it does, then I can go hunting this year.

If I get to take off, I can bring you some Welsummers and take a look at those birds. I hadn't planned to add any new blood to my stock but it wouldn't hurt to look.

Does that sound ok?

Btw, the black speckles in the hackles, I've been noticing that in a few birds but have not paid much attention to it as it seems to go away when they get their adult feathers. What do you find the correlation to be between the speckles and?

God Bless,

It is an indication of striping in the hackles of the male offspring.

Thanks so much for that little POI, Jean! You probably just saved me years of trying to figure out how to get rid of the striping! As you know, that's a problem with the WBS Variety.

God Bless,
