He's my first and only Splash so far and having a hard time deciding to keep him or not. The Ermine Ameracauna's are pretty neat also.

Why not keep him, just opens a doorway to more possibilities And you already know where I stand with the Ermines

Does he have copper? He's looking really good. Comb + structure looks decent. Is he a nice guy?

No...Splash Silver. Yes, he's pretty nice. The big Blue Silver is the dominant of the growouts and he really likes squaring up with my hand or arm when I'm within reach. It's comical....

Ended up offloading all my spare roosters at a local swap last weekend.

Single Blue Bar CM
Splash (No Copper) Maran
2 X BCM
@wrathsfarm if you had any interest in the bar boy I'm actually in toledo this weekend picking up some geese I could be tempted to bring him on Friday . Assuming you have a need/want for him.

Very interesting enough. I was the only one with marans, and so much interest in pullets. Literally had people from all around the state/vt asking when I'll be getting pullets/babies again so tempting to do some hatch outs. (100+ people showed up too) was insane lol.

Sun is washing them out today, but I ended up with 5 nice looking black copper pullets. One is almost lacking copper (has very little on hackle), but all legs/feathers on shanks are looking good. So finally on my way to quality birds. Next year working on some egg color, but mostly wanting structure and color to be good
