I am expressing my great appreciation to my friend, Kate in NM (Writer of Words) for commissioning this wonderful portrait of my sweet Violet, the hen I recently lost to internal laying, and to my young friend,Olivia (Horse Feathers), the very talented artist who took on the job!
It just came with my very conscientious mail carrier, who called me to let me know she had a package and did not want to risk bending it by putting it in the box.
