Nicholas is three years old. He took a nose dive off a table. They say he will be ok, has non displaced fractures around the left eye in nose and cheek and brow. No cranial involvement. But would like the docs at children's to check him out, so he is on his way up there now with his mom and babysitter, who is more like a second mom. (2 hr drive) They were sure enough that they let him go by car instead of ambulance. I would still be surprised if he doesn't have a concussion. He has the pattern of the carpet rug-burned into his forehead. She will call when she gets there and again whenever they know anything new.
We'll be praying that Nicholas will be just fine.

poor little buddy! I have had that happen and it makes you cringe to see it! Wiley ran down a hall, his shorts feel causing him to trip. He slammed into the door jam than hit the concrete floor. i thought he was gonna die. The doctor told me these little buddies are hefty tuff and bounce back fast.
