Does anyone here have/breed White or snow ringnecks? I'm looking for eggs this coming spring. Or started birds if you have them.
Please post pics and say what you will have.
Thanks!

McFarlans used to raise them.
I never really liked them though. They get fat and are not very good flyers either. Although they taste good.

Those are the parents of one Tony.
The other I hatched from another source.

We did raise White Ringnecks, Jumbo White Ringnecks & Alaskan Snow Ringnecks. I do have a couple Alaskan Snow males and some big Jumbo White hens for sale yet.

Mac Farlane's used to sell some of the smaller Whites they had, but they now raise the Jumbo Whites for their meat production; and do not sell any of the Jumbo Whites.

We were luckily enough to obtain some of their Jumbo Whites, which are huge birds.

Alot of people call white ringnecks------ snows, which is not correct the Alaskan Snows are a white bird WITH dark ticking thru out the body, developed by a friend in WI- Jerri Kerl from Hickory Ridge Farm.

Randy,
Would you say the above picture is of a White or an Alaskan Snow?
They do have black spots. Not a lot but some. They are about ringneck size.
Not jumbo in size for sure.
