I have 2 white silkies about 3 months old,
any guesses as to what they are?

As babies,
(#1 on left, #2 on right)

They both have beautiful blue earlobes, but #2 seems to have more comb growth, while #1's is barely visible looking straight on.

warning: no useful info ahead!

i just had to say that first pic, with the little black chicks' long legs and full-on heiny is pretty adorable. it took me a second to see it. at first i was like, 'omg! that poor chick has no face!' haha.

your birds, whatever their sex, are gorgeous! i love the white silkies, they are just too beautiful to be real aren't they?

are you hoping for pullets? i'll keep my fingers crossed for ya!

They look like pullets to me; my roosters had much more developed combs at that age. (However, Silkies are notoriously hard to sex... )

My blue cockerel had me guessing until he was almost 7 MONTHS old. He had no comb nor did he ever crow until then. I had another cockerel start showing his comb about 4-6 weeks before then. They are really tricky to figure out. I can usually sex most all of my other breeds within a week or two of hatching. These silkies humbled me! Regarding your birds, the first looks like a pullet and the second a roo but we may not know for sure for a couple more months:o

1st hen, 2nd rooster already has a big mulberry comb going on.

Yea, I was thinking #1 a pullet and #2 a roo, which works out pretty well.
Hopefully, that'll be the way it turns out.......Anything but 2 roos.
