I've just put 4 BLRW and 4 partridge rocks under my broody. I've seen only a couple pictures of adult BLRW and even less of the PR adults. It seems the lighter in colr the chick the lighter the blue will be. What's your experience with this. Can't wait to see your BLRW!

Yours are sooo much darker than mine. Mine are the very light colored chicks in the picture. Now I'm worried mine are so light............

here's a pic with 2 of the BLRW. All 4 look just like that. Very light coloring........is that wrong? I don't have a lot of experience with this breed..

As light as they are they'll be very, very light colored splashes. I've never hatched any that light so I don't know for sure, but I wonder how much lacing they'll have. Do you know did they come from splash roo over splash hens? What I've been told is that each generation of splash to splash matings is lighter than the one before it.
