We dyed the brown and dark brown eggs and came out with some cool colors. You can't really tell, but the black looking ones are an eggplant color.
So here's tonight's end result

Wow! Gorgeous! Did you just use regular egg coloring?
Very bright and cheerful looking eggs there..I wish I had that many to colour - but they are all already in the incubator.

Yep, regular egg coloring. 3 TBSP vinegar, 1/2 cup warm water.
i did mine tonight too.. well i guess since it's 12:09..then it would have been last night lol. anyway, i only did 2 and a half dozen. im used to do 4 or better LMBO. but this year i scaled it down. i bought two dozen white eggs to dye.. and then i did half a dozen brown eggs... i have dyed some before but i wanted to see how they looked using food coloring too.

Wow those are some really neat easter eggs. I never thought about using brown colored eggs to dye.. I might have to try that next year.. But I will have to use store bought brown eggs. I dont have chickens yet.. Maybe I should do some of the quail eggs...

I've never mastered the art of dying eggs. Mine come out awful. How do the eggs come out with designs! For the life of me, I can't figure out how to get 3 different colors on an egg much less get designs going on!
