We have hatched eggs from the following color combinations and are wondering what we can expect of them.
In the first batch the roo was a blue Mille Fluer. although his tail is black but his hock and foot feathering is blue

There are three hens that provided Eggs. One Mille Fluer that was suposse to be a Blue Mille, one Blue Mille, and one Self Blue (Lavendar).

here are the two milles.

I understand that mille and Self Blue (Lavendar) will produce porcelain. Which I believe I have 2 of.

What sould the rest be?
Blue mille, mille split for blue mille ?

How doe Blue and Lavendar interact?

Everytime I try the genetic calcualtor and do a Mille to a blue Mille I get Black. The only black I got was a silkieXD'Uccle black skin and feathering and vulture hocks.

Here is a picture of some of the chicks we put in a photo contest here. I believe the one in the middle is a porcelain.

I believe these are also porcelain.

So the possible crosses were.

Blue Mille Rooster X Blue Mille hen = Blue Mille?
Blue Mille Rooster X Mille hen = ?
Blue mille Rooster X Self Blue (Lavendar) Hen = Porcelain ?

and if I add the Self Blue (Lavendar) Rooster He was added latter for our last hatch.

Self Blue (Lavendar) Rooster X Blue Mille hen = ?
Self Blue (Lavendar) Rooster X Mille hen = Porcelain ?
Self Blue (Lavendar) Rooster Self Blue (Lavendar) Hen?

d'Uccle combos confuse me as well. Interested to see how your chicks grow up...

I have a quad of lavenders, and a poor quality porcelain that has quite a bit of yellow to him.
In an experiment, we bred the porcelain roo to the lavender hens. We got mostly lavender babies, and one black one. I was very excited about the black one, but it died early on. The 3 pale lavender babies from this cross had VERY bad feathering and were frial. They finally died, too. The one that looked like the lavenders from the regluar quad was the only survivor from the experiment, and was ery slow to feather in completely.

I now want to cross my mille roo with the lavender girls and see what percentage I get blue mille vs lavender. It will be a late summer experiment, after I'm done hatching out for the different poultry shows.

As in the original post with the pictures I have the two hens shown and the roo shown. The roo is suppose to be a Blue Millefluer as you can see in his foot and hock feathering although his tail is more black than blue. and you can see two of the three hens. one blue millefluer and one millefluer. I will try to get pictures up this weekend of the chicks that have hatched. As stated the only black I have is from a Blue silkei and the pictured roo.

Two of the chicks are realy light coulored and have only a white mottleing and no black or blue or lavendar.

Could the Hen on the right be a poor porcleain and not a blue millefleur? Although I doubt it as she does not appear to be light enough in the coloring.

An animal both blue and lavender should be in the range of lavender. Theoretically it should be a light or normal lavender, but reports of a darker lavender have been made...

For a blue millefleur she is a bit pale (maybe only het (= 1 dose) columbian Co/co+ or wheaten based) in groundcolor (she is still in the range of gold though).
All your millefleurs lack the black/blue edge around the white mottle. That could also be caused by het columbian or lack of melanizers (black enhancers).
