I have two bantams I'll be listing to sell/rehome and I want to make sure I have the correct information in the listing. They're 4.5 months old.

This one I thought was a Self Blue Old English Bantam cockerel, but the pictures I've seen of that breed, the males are one shade of grey all over. Thoughts?

This one I was told is a White Laced Red Cornish bantam pullet. After looking at a few pictures of the breed this seems to be correct, but I'm just verifying.

I'll probably give the male away, but what's a fair price to ask for on the pullet?

I think he's splash as well. And man, he is gorgeous!

As for fair price, I can't help too much there. The 3 I sold were all less than 3 months old. I sold 4, all together, for $50. For 3 cockerels and a pulet, I thought it was pretty good.

I think everything you are assuming in your post is correct, (female WLRC Bantam and male OEGB) except I think he might not be self blue (like you were questioning), but splash.
That's the one! I found the listing on cackle hatchery https://www.cacklehatchery.com/product/splash-old-english-game-bantam/. I'm glad I didn't sell him sooner with the wrong information. He's only started to get the darker dray in the last 2-3 weeks.

Now I'm thinking of getting him some girl friends, lol.

I'm hopeless :lau

Well he already has one gf, doesn't he :lol:?! My bantams have done really well in pairs, I'm sure that's a bit case-by-case as with LF, though (not that they ever do well in pairs, just their 'gentleness' with the ladies, is what I mean.)

I couldn't sell him, lol. He's too handsome!
❤️

I have some Cochin bantams and the WLRCB pullet, but I'm trying to downsize a bit to make room for colored egg layers.

He is the only male bantam though . . .
