I hatched 11 Wheaten and Blue Wheaten Ameraucanas from eggs that I received from pips&peeps on/around April 1st. All of the babies are thriving, their feathers have really started to come in and I thought I see if anyone could help me decide if two of the little ones are in fact Blue Wheaten cockerels. I was really hoping for at least one.
Here's the first chick,
This is the second chick, I forgot a comb picture of this little one, sorry.
This chick has a toe on his right foot that is bent outwards slightly, would this disqualify him from showing?
Out of the 11 babies that hatched I feel like at least 7 of them are either W/BW pullets,
The ones that I believe are cockerels definitely have much darker feathering at this point, especially the little Wheaten boys. I've very excited about having so many pullets to choose from! Thanks Jean!
